Sick Call - Carbon Monoxide Incident - Old Close Road

At 10:52, West Stockholm First Responders were dispatched to a sick person call on the Old Close Road. Once on scene, further assessment indicated that carbon monoxide was the underlying cause of ailment. West Stockholm Fire further investigated the residence and quickly determined the origin of the carbon monoxide and were able to fix the issue. Crews were able to properly ventilate the home until it was deemed safe for the residents to return and West Stockholm was back in service at 12:42.
West Stockholm Fire would like to remind everyone the importance of having working smoke and carbon monoxide detectors throughout your homes, rentals, camps, etc.

West Stockholm Fire was dispatched at 22:45 to a 1 car roll over with entrapment on County Route 47. Crews responded in Engine 88, Rescue 43, and Rescue 42. Chief Torey Russell arrived on scene first confirming the incident and was able to assist the sole occupant out of the vehicle.
